Screenings

Monday, September 19, at Euroa Youth Space, Bury St, Euroa, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A workshop for children over 12 to learn how to create works of art and short films to project onto buildings and other surfaces. The projections will then be exhibited at the Here and Now Festival on October 1.

Discuss climate change

Wednesday, September 21, at Euroa Youth Space, Bury St, Euroa, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Discussion and hands-on activities about climate change and the differences we can make in our community.

No reservation necessary.

Italian food

Thursday, September 22, at the Nagambie Youth Hub, Filson St, Nagambie, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Learn how to prepare delicious savory dishes, which we will share. Learn a little more about nutrition and smart food choices.

Free for children over 12 years old.

YMCA Skateboard

Friday, September 23, at Violet Town Skate Park, Tulip St, Violet Town, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and at Euroa Skate Park, Kirkland Ave, Euroa, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Come join the guys from the YMCA and learn some cool tricks and how to ride Violet Town and Euroa skateparks.

Screenings part two

Monday September 26, at Euroa Youth Space, Bury St, Euroa, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Finish creating screenings and films for the festival, then edit and browse the screenings.

Create flowers

Tuesday September 27, at the Nagambie Youth Hub, Filson St, Nagambie, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Euroa Youth Space, Bury St, Euroa, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 6,000 kilograms of clothing and textiles are sent to landfill every 10 minutes. Learn how to turn some of this waste into beautiful, delicate poppies.

Take some home to wear and create a collaborative flower wall to display in the youth space.

Mexican cuisine

Thursday, September 29, at the Nagambie Youth Hub, Filson St, Nagambie, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Children aged 12 and over are encouraged to come and learn how to prepare delicious dishes to share.

There is no cost.

Friday September 30, at the Euroa Community Cinema, Bury St, Euroa, from 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Free screening. Drink and popcorn/ice provided.

Anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
