‘Monster Mash Skate Bash’ family rollerskating night will be on October 22

The Dare County Department of Parks and Recreation and the City of Kill Devil Hills have teamed up with Outer Banks-based roller skating organization, OUTR SK8s, to host a family night of roller skating ‘Monster Mash Skate Bash”.

This event will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 7-10 p.m. (with a rain date of October 29), at the Aviation Park Roller Hockey Rink, which is located at 103 Veterans Drive in Kill Devil Hills .

Roller skates and inline skates are welcome during the event; however, skateboards, scooters and bicycles are not permitted. Participants are responsible for bringing their own skates and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Outer Banks residents and visitors of all ages are welcome to attend.

Disco lighting and family music will be played, and a raffle and costume contest will take place during the event. Participants are encouraged to wear glowing necklaces and bracelets.
