Martin Atanasov wins the Best Foot Forward Europe Tour 2021
Martin Atanasov and Liv Broder won the 2021 Best Foot Forward Europe Tour final in Innsbruck, Austria.
After ten stages which drew more than 500 skaters from 21 different nations, it was time for the ultimate clash.
The world’s largest amateur skateboarding competition had been on hiatus for almost a year and a half due to the pandemic.
The two-day finals brought together 40 male and female riders from 13 countries, making it a true skate festival.
All of the competitors proved why they deserved a place in the ultimate competition and performed very technical tricks combined with a lot of styles.
On the first day, and after a photo and video shoot at the legendary Landhausplatz, it was time to drive to Marktplatz.
On the Austrian spot, a mini ramp has been installed especially for runners to provide them with unique images and memories of Innsbruck.
The day ended with a massive Cash for Tricks session.
Go big or go home
On the second day, the biggest European amateur skate circuit held its grand finale.
The winners of the Best Foot Forward Europe Tour returned home with a check and a unique chance to participate in a sponsored trip to California.
A high level of skateboarding was expected, but what the boys and girls delivered exceeded all expectations.
The Austrian venue was on fire and outside in the Brand Village the vibes were great.
Martin Atanasov took the win on a deposit but massive tricks like the frontside tailslide transfer on the rather tall pyramid, a noseblunt slide and backside 270 lipslide on the large down rail, and a solid run covering much of the course. .
Second place went to Lenni Pfeiffer with technical tricks like the double tre flip up the euro gap, a backside boardslide flip along the big rail, and nice low frontside grinds on the right rail.

He used the kicker line and all the other obstacles, for example, a crazy quarter-to-quarter transfer lip glide, a bigger hip flip, a weak frontside on the big down rail and a blunt frontside flip over the quarter.
Swiss skateboarder Liv Broder was in a league of their own, and she won the women’s competition with a weak frontside on the small bottom rail, a frontside boardslide along the large bottom rail, high kickflips all the way to the euro , and frontside and backside 270 over the hip.
