ICE DREAMS 2022 is coming to Nassau County this weekend

Ice Dreams Tour ( presented by Purely Inspired features inspiring athletes and took the ice live to audiences in cities across America in the spring of 2022.

The Ice Dreams Tour, presented by Purely Inspired, featured legendary figure skater NANCY KERRIGAN, Olympic medalist Gracie Gold, four-time national champion and Olympic medalist Jeremy Abbott, USA medalist Polina Edmunds, national champion Max Aaron and a packed cast flying acrobats. , young talent and incredible ice dancers in arenas across the country this spring. And now it’s time for the final show right here at the Northwell Health Ice Center on Long Island.

The cast and crew traveled across the country throughout the spring and together they made the show even more exciting with new lights, more tricks and even more exceptional skating.

The Ice Dreams Tour, presented by Purely Inspired, kicked off April 8 at the Mennen Sports Arena just outside of New York City and headed to regional markets and major metropolitan areas including the Philadelphia Metro (Newark, DE), Boston (Worcester, MA), Buffalo, NY, Milford, CT and more. Each location allowed young skaters to perform alongside the stars and participate in an hour-long motivational seminar that encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

The Ice Dreams Tour is produced by Great Neck native Tara Modlin-Maurizi, who has produced Celebrity Ice shows for two decades. “The Ice Dreams Tour is all about making dreams come true on ice. I remember being a young skater and idolizing national and Olympic competitors. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to bring this experience to young kids skating in the spectacle. Even more gratifying is the joy it brings to Olympic athletes to be able to give back in this way.” Maurizi said.

From legendary sports personalities like NANCY KERRIGAN to current Olympians to aspiring young adults, this show tells the touching story of two little girls who fall asleep and invite the audience into their biggest dreams. The show includes talented skaters, flying acrobats, extraordinarily talented children and even a hockey relay!
