Children roller skate on the roads with messages to mark National Road Safety Month in the western city of Madhya Pradesh
Mandsaure (Madhya Pradesh): A roller skate rally was organized by traffic police here on Sunday in which children aged four to seven participated. It was staged to score 32sd National Road Safety Month, which began on January 18 and ends on February 17, 2021.
District Roll Ball Union, Lions Club Mandsaur and NCC organized the rally from Maharana Pratap Square to Gandhi Square. District collector Manoj Pushp announced the end of the rally, which was being held under the leadership of traffic police station official Shailendra Singh Chouhan.
Collector Pushp and all the other officials walked from Maharana Pratap Square to Gandhi Square. The main attraction consisted of children on skates carrying road safety messages asking people to wear helmets when riding two-wheelers, not to ride a two-wheeler with more than two people, not to ride a two-wheeler with more than two people. not drink and drive, wear seat belts, do not use a cell phone while driving, to avoid speeding, etc. Children wore helmets and safety guards when skating.
Other people present on the occasion included the Additional Superintendent of Police, District Sports Officer, District Panchayat Chairman, District Skating Union officials, Union Roll Ball, Lions Club, NCC officials, cadets and parents of children.
The traffic police station in charge Chouhan appreciated people for the success of the program. The rally ended in Gandhi Square with a big applause to the children.
